What causes bad breath?
Bad breath is caused by bacteria in the mouth and/or odor given off by our bodies through our breath either from foods digested, medications or health issues such as diabetes. Bacteria in the mouth can be caused by yeast infections, poor dental hygiene, food particles remaining between teeth, cavities, gum diseases, foods with strong odors, ill fitting dental appliances, smoking and tobacco chewing.
The bacteria are difficult to kill. Most mouth washes and certainly all breath mints can do nothing more than temporarily mask the odor. The root cause is the bacteria which grow in leaps and bounds under a blanket of mucous and produce the gases which cause the odor.
How is Dr. Piero’s Bad Breath Wash different from other mouth washes?
Dr. Piero’s Bad Breath Wash is Chlorine Dioxide, which controls the bacteria which produce the odors. It penetrates the bio-film and prevents bio-film from being produced. It is not a cover up and is alcohol-free. It is safe on people, pets and for the environment.
1 tablet makes 1 quart of Bad Breath Wash which equals 35ppm of Chlorine Dioxide.
